Jackson Dennis McHugh was born on May 5th, 2009 at 12:29 PM. He is a big boy at 9lbs 6oz and 21 inches long. Alison and Jackson are doing well.

Thank you everyone for your thoughts and prayers as we begin our new family! Here is a picture.

In case you hadn't heard

I am pregnant! Just over halfway through, all systems go. We had an ultrasound on Friday that showed a healthy baby, who even yawned during the procedure. Guess he/she is already bored with me and Patrick.

Anyway, we'll keep you posted. I am due Sept 5. Hope all is well!

PS (Yes, this means no more roller derby for a while, boooo.)

Hi all---Patricia Fallon was born on Oct. 15th! Trish is doing great and so far Aileen is really happy with her little sis. We'll see how long it lasts. Hope to see everyone at some point over the holidays.

Hello All ---

Here are a few pics from Lisa's Graduation. Though time spent on this degree had her walking as a 16th year senior, she graduated with a 3.86 GPA and received a distinction in her department of History. Zofia, mama Maureen, myself and Lisa's mom were in attendance. Here are a few pics!

Happy New Year to everyone! Here are a few pics of the ice storm that hit us last week. So beautiful, other than all the destruction it caused! Everyone here is doing great.......Lisa is finishing her last semester at UNC-Asheville, and I get to spend those couple days a week with Zofia who just turned 4 months old. Kevin McHugh is a huge star

I recently spent a while randomly internet stalking Cousin Kevin only to find out that he is a huge international sensation. Check out Kevin (aka Ambivalent) on his record secondary label, Clink. His primary label (Minus) is taking the first ten weeks of the new year off.

Tori McHugh turns 4!

Since Pat and Lori probably won't have time to post this, I thought everyone would want to see how big Tori is getting! She turned 4 on Jan. 1 and had her birthday party at Pizza Hut in Frederick. It was big fun and of course the most popular play toy were the balloons. A fun time was had by all. I had to add a pic of Aileen---she's getting ready to walk is really into her "Old Daddy" (Ger) playing pat-a-cake with her.

Happy New Year to all---maybe we can plan a cousins beach weekend this summer!

HAPPY (no) TURKEY DAY!!!! gobble gobble..................

I love all the great halloween pics! I must admit that John and I didn't get Aileen out to get candy (John doesn't each sweets and God knows I don't need it!) but at least we got her in her costume.

If anyone is interested, John and I are hosting Thanksgiving at our house in Annapolis---everyone is welcome to witness my first attempt at cooking a turkey! We'll start around 3 pm, so just let me know and we'll set a place for you!

Cole Halloween

I'm sorry AJ was unable to don his chicken suit for this picture, but Molly the Mummy Queen and Bridget the Pirate had friends join them for the festivities. Evan hated the whole thing, including his Thomas the Train costume, so he went as "Linus" with blankie and thumb sucking. Sadly Molly & Bridget didn't even know who Linus was, pointing clearly to our failures as parents. We are ashamed. Evan did recover once he realized there was candy involved, and that he would be riding in the red wagon, while Kendra rode in style in the Addams family style pram...we were quite a sight. I went as myself, the witch...should be no surprise to anyone who has been around our house at homework time!!

Zofia Alma McHugh

Hello ya'll........well, we happily have a baby blog to send along to ya. Zofia was born at 5am on friday september 28th (i was secretly hoping for nani's birthday the day before) 6lbs 130z and almost 19" short. she is a healthy, cute little sucker and a sweet baby all around-----that description is colorfully inspired by sleep deprivation. i just snapped this picture of her crashing out on the couch before i started this post. mama is doing great and is enjoying the pleasures of sweet cuddles and successful breast feeding. let's make a plan to all be at the beach next summer! wishing you all the best-----
